Giuseppe Bellanca Italian Aviation Pioneer Builder & Designer Autograph ''Rare''

Giuseppe Mario Bellanca [1886 1960] was an Italian-American aviation pioneer who began his aviation career in 1912 when he opened the Bellanca Flying School upon emigrating from Italy. Bellanca worked in the aircraft industry as a designer and in 1927 he founded the Bellanca Aircraft Corporation and is credited with designing the first enclosed cabin monoplane along with a wide range of general aviation and cargo aircraft. Listed for auction is the autograph of Giuseppe Mario Bellanca signed on a Air Mail postal envelope. The autograph is signed ”The future of aeronautics is mostly in the hands of the young generation. G. Bellanca” and the envelope is postmarked Washington, D.C., Feb 10, 1930, and is affixed with one U.S postal stamp. The cover measures 6.50 x 3.50 inches and is in fine condition.
